• Most men will equate online dating with blind dating, as you’re taking a risk, getting hooked up with someone you don’t know, so it might work or it might not. These men will also see the benefits of online dating compared to blind dating, you can get to know the person before you meet them face-to-face.

• Very few people, men or women, have hard and fast expectations of finding the perfect soul mate by dating online. Most men just have realistic expectations, as although you might not think it most men are normal nice guys looking for normal nice women, though there are the exceptions of course!

• Expectations for online dating should be similar to any other kind of dating, as you’re trying to meet someone and it may or may not work out as you want it to.

• Men who treat online dating as shopping to buy a woman, are going to be the ones who wind up unhappy with the results.
